Has your faith been tested?

Yes. My faith was tested two summers ago when my wife and kids were out of town for what seemed like 2 months during the summer. My wife was taking care of her father and aunt who were both sick and I was missing my family and feeling neglected. I took some quiet time and did some reading and realized I was being selfish. - - Funny thing was, I started reading some Christian books my wife had on "how to be a good wife" cause my intent was to pick things out of there that she wasn't doing and throw it in her face to show her that she was being a bad wife. What I realized was that all of those things could quickly be turned around on me and that I wasn't being a very understanding or compionate husband either. So I resolved to just work harder at things and love her even more. And you know what...that seemed to make her want to be with me even more too and pretty soon things had gotten back to normal and the rough times had subsided.
