How hard is snowboarding?

I have been skiing since I was 3 years old, and I am now 16 years old. I really want to try snowboarding because it looks like a lot of fun! I usually pick things up easily, so how hard would it be for me? I am going to Utah in two weeks and thats when i want to try. I also just got back from Colorado about 3 weeks ago. Can you tell me any tips about learning to snowboard? Also which foot goes in the front? Just write anything that you think is helpful for me to know. Thank you so much!

ok heres my problem..... and unfortuneately, no one in my small town knows the answer to it.... ok so my friend is attending a community college here in VA, and was receiving money from FAFSA and grants last semester, when he dropped an unneeded cl for his diploma, and Financial Aid dropped him as a result(when the woman told him that it would not). On top of that, they sent him something in the mail that stated he would be unable to take out ANY kind of federal or stafford loan until he catches his credits up, and which they said he has 2 options: pay out of pocket, or have someone give you the money. Long story short we decided to go to the bank and try for a personal loan, (as theres no way he could take the money out of pocket because his bills were too high and he makes minimum wage at a crappy job) and everything seemed good for the personal loan until they all eventually informed us we would need a co signer... We tried EVERONE we could thuink of but everyone we both knows credit is bad, or not high enough.... The max amount he would need for one semester to catch up his credits would be around $2000... Does anyone know of any other possibillities or ways to go about getting the money???

My 89 ford bronco will not crank!?!?!?

I have a 89 ford bronco Eddie Bower edition that was running fine until the other day. I recently put a new battery in the vehicle and the lights and everything else still work great when I turn the key but when I go to crank the engine nothing happens, no clicks no nothing, just silence. I have noticed under the vehicle that there are wires stripped apart going from transmission to the transfer case but they have been like that for a while and never caused any trouble before... anyone have any ideas as to what the heck is going on? and if so how can I fix it?

What can I do to make a gravel driveway driveable?

We got 2 dumps of gravel (pretty fine stuff, maybe 1/2 inch) on our downhill sloping driveway and now it's almost impossible to drive up the hill. The tires spin, the vehicle skids (and shoots gravel all over the place). Before that, the driveway was dirt and was driveable. We paid money, got gravel, and can't use it. Will gravel settle over time? Should I argue with the contractor (and make him remove some of it)? These hospitals have been around for a while. There has been thousands of patients before you. If there was a way to hurt yourself someone has already discovered it and tried it and the hospital has already taken steps to prevent anyone else from trying it. The staff has nothing to gain from watching you take a shower or go to the bathroom. I take it from your writing that you are not an American, and I am, so everything is not going to be the same, but the smallest hospital I have been in had 10 or 15 patients and the largest had easily more than 30. They don't have enough employees to follow every move you make, even if it was necessary, which it is not. Where I live they have all the patients in the same room during the day because the law says they have to check on you every 15 minutes, and after bedtime one person with a flashlight walks up and down the hall and just looks to see you are sleeping and they move on. Also, I smoke too, and I have been in palaces where they will let you go into an outside area under supervision and you could smoke 8 cigarettes a day. In the places where you couldn't smoke, they will give you a nicotine patch and most likely if you ask the doctor he/she will prescribe a tranquilizer such as Lorazepam and it takes the anxiety out of your cravings and keeps you calm. It is not so bad.

Yes. My faith was tested two summers ago when my wife and kids were out of town for what seemed like 2 months during the summer. My wife was taking care of her father and aunt who were both sick and I was missing my family and feeling neglected. I took some quiet time and did some reading and realized I was being selfish. - - Funny thing was, I started reading some Christian books my wife had on "how to be a good wife" cause my intent was to pick things out of there that she wasn't doing and throw it in her face to show her that she was being a bad wife. What I realized was that all of those things could quickly be turned around on me and that I wasn't being a very understanding or compionate husband either. So I resolved to just work harder at things and love her even more. And you know what...that seemed to make her want to be with me even more too and pretty soon things had gotten back to normal and the rough times had subsided.

DO NOT HIT THEM WITH A HAMMER!!! Go to your local parts store and rent/borrow a Drum puller. It looks like a big puller used for Pulleys/steering wheels etc... If you hit them with a hammer you risk knocking chunks of metal out of the rim of the drum. Then you will need new drums. Reach inside the drum through the opening in the back plate and retract the shoes fully and then use the puller if they are still stuck on there. Dont know what I am talking about? DH and I BD the 12th and then sometimes around the 18th, 3 nights in a row. TMI HERE - Friday I noticed some light brown discharge when I wiped, but it only happened one time when I wiped that day. Same thing on saturday and sunday, one time when I wiped there was light brown discharge. I figured on Friday it was the start of my period so I put a tampon in and about 4 hours later I took it out and there was nothing at all on it. Not even a spot. I'm right there with you... I'm totally marginalized in my new job (am I still considered new after 8 months?)... it's depressing because you have spend at least 40 hours of your life with these people, probably more than you spend with people you actually care about. I've been in many better situations, so I know that having a few good friends at work can make all the difference. When you feel like no matter what you do, people will not disrespect you, it's like running on ice... the whole thing just feels so futile. The worst part in my case is that I think I'm making it worse by trying too hard... I look desperate and/or crazy and that can't help me in the respect department. My only advice to you is to avoid that -- don't try too hard, but remain amicable. I have faith that they'll get used to having you around in the long run. Time really does make things better. If I were you, I'd ignore the people who tell you to quit your job because you feel marginalized, unless of course (as some have mentioned) your boss is also marginalizing you. You never know -- you might just be going from the frying pan into the fire.

No, although they are both tetras, they are different breeds of fish, and you can not interbreed the different breeds or 'types' of fish even if they are of the same 'basic' kind. I have red eyed tetras that are all about 1-1.5" long. I also have silver dollar tetras that are 4" long and are 'flat' and 'round' like a silver dollar. They don't even recognize each other as being the same kind of fish. Although the 'neon' and the 'glowlight' are similar they are still too far apart to interbreed. Sorry.

But venom is made of complex biological molecules. The acid in your stomach attacks things like that and tries to break them down. i decided of jog for 30mins regularly from last week,i tried to jog at 6km speed on a threadmill ...after jogging for 10 mins(including warmup...slow walk for 5mins) i was unable to jog anymore.so i stopped n continued again after 5 mins.i was able to jog for 10 more mins.....n after dat i really felt like dieing.the next day i jogged at 5km speed and was able to jog continously for 30mins(including warm up and cooldown each for 5 mins).and this seems to be pretty comfortable for me.but does jogging at 5km...helps in reducing my weight.i'm 5"6 height and 132 pounds.....i stil want to reduce 4----5 kgs////plz help me

honestly your house probably has a smell, you are just used to it. I have the same problem as you, I like my house to smell good. A few months ago I got some of the WallFlower plug ins by the White Barn Candle company and they work really well. I also have a tendency to switch smells. Nothing drastic, one month I will use Tide the next I will use Gain. They smell close but are just different enough to notice. I do the Febreeze occasionally. But otherwise stick with the wallflowers. I make sure that all the holders have the same smell in them at the same time so you don't get conflicting scents. And I will change them even before they are empty if I feel they aren't doing it for me. I will take whats left, cap the bottle and use it another time. Be glad your house doesn't smell like anything it could be worse.

It's close, so here are some tips, Tom brady is valuable. Torry holt is getting a little old and i think the rams will run a lot with Steven Jackson. Plus, Laverneus is very injury prone, and will most likely not play 16 games this season. Marshawn lynch will be very good since the bills have a terrible QB, but not worth tom brady. When experimenting with pendulums, I began wondering about several things. First of all, we were required to obtain a string and make a loop 40 cm from the top tip. After 20 seconds we were to measure the number of swings, and then perform the same experiment three times for string with a length of 80 cm and 120 cm. Is it correct that as the length of the string increased, the number of swings decreased? Why is this so? Will adding more weight to the string make a noticeable difference? Dividing the average number of swings per length of string after testing 3 times by 20(seconds) produced larger numbers than when dividing the average number of swings for the shorter string. Would that not mean that the linger the string on the pendulum, the more swings? What I did is instead of calculating the number of moles per litre, I calculated the number of moles per mL (which is 1.66x10^-6) and then multiplied that by 10.00mL because that's how much of that solution was in the erlenmeyer flask. Remember that you're not calculating the molarity of IO3 in the flask but the number of moles in the flask, so the amount of any other substance in the flask is irrelevant.

the new deal was enacted in mid to late 1930s, great depression was said to have ended 1945. FDR had trouble ping his New Deal becuase of conservative congress which makes sense. Recently I received a phone call from a company calling me about a credit card I once had about 3 years ago. I was unable to pay the credit card off. Now it has been turned over for collection. The individual I spoke with advise me to open a checking account so they could draft the money from my account. The individual told me if I don't do this they will go through my employer and garnish my check until the amount is paid. He said the amount I owe is $5,000 but the company will settle for $2,500 if I give them $500 as a down payment and pay the rest of the money on a monthly basis ($78) until it is paid in full. When I told him I don't have the $500, he said he will waived the down payment of $500 and set up a monthly payment of $78 a month for me until it is paid in full. I am weary of this. Has anyone ever had any experience such as this. I live in Georgia and I do know garnishment is allowed. I don't want anyone to garnish my check. Please help me, is this the real thing or not?

I have EIA and a problem......?

I have EIA which is exercise induced asthma. It has only shown up as I have progressed in sports in high school and have had it (diagnosed) for two years now (I am 20). The problem is, is that I cannot run for longer than 5 min at a time due to I get a very congested feeling in my throat and chest like i need to spit up flem but I cant and this hinders me from running distance. My problem is I am testing for EM PA a police academy in MO in 8 weeks and I have been trying to run the 1.5 mile (IN 14 MIN) but cant do it without stopping multiple times due to the above symptoms. I wouldn't choose a theme like that. That's silly. The houses here are just big. That's the theme. The neighborhoods just have names like "The Fairways, Kings Ridge, Kings Place, Royal Court, Hilton Crest, Rembrandt Heights, etc."

You make it so hard to read, if you list the names, forget what they mean, it might be easier. If you are in Africa you name your child, great hunter or something or an american indian, long ago, great blach feather. This is modern times, names are names.

I write for a living, and I'm hard to impress - and that's some of the most beautiful work I've read in a long time. While I'm sure any woman would tell you that it's their dream to receive a letter like that and be swept off their feet, what they really want can be an entirely different story. Receiving that note could either make a woman melt, or it could scare the hell out of her. It really depends on the girl, and also the relationship you have with her now. In other words, if you are already good friends with her or know her very well, then I think your chances of getting a good reaction are pretty good. If you don't know her, and don't really say much to her other than "hi" when you p her -- then I'd say your chances are pretty much 50/50. It all depends on her current perception of you, and how her mind works. If you feel as strongly about her as your words suggest, I'd say go for it - though bear in mind if she gets weirded out it could make for a very uncomfortable and awkward work situation.

dear guys, i have asus k8n mobo, and 2.00ghz processor. ram 3 gb.550w smps.x1550 gpu agp.1 tb hdd sata.i see when i install 3 gb of ram then in bios show only 2.46gb of ram & in os (windows 7) it show 3.00gb(2.47 ram usable),i cant understand why it show like this.i see this, this kind of error in other pc when there 4gb or ram it shows 3gb something.but here i install 3gb & when i install 1gb then in bios show 400Mhz speed but when 2gb then 333mhz then i install 3gb then 200mhz show pls explain where is the prob, is there ram problem or mobo prob.

Photoshop CS3 help with tips and tricks?

You can go to Image>Adjustments>Brightness/Contrast. Adjust it from there. If you want to, you can adjust it by going to Image>Adjustments>Levels. It's all easy once you know where to go and how bright you want it to be. I dunno how dark your pic is so I couldnt tell you the exact numbers to put it. CS3 isnt that hard though. If you want, there are plenty of Photoshop tutorials out there. Just google photoshop tutorials and you'll find PLENTY of interesting ones.

Can a homeowner that is short selling her home put the home fixtures up for sale? i.e. Air Conditioner, etc?

We have an offer in on a short sale home. We've stayed in contact with the homeowner as when we first viewed the house she told us she might want to sell us some of her things as she was leaving the country once the sale was over. Well long story short we called her yesterday and come to find out she's basically stripping the house to the highest bidder. Things like the Oven, Central Air Conditioning unit, etc. I read up on this and have obviously found out this is downright illegal when it comes to FORECLOSURE homes...but what about with Short Sales? I mean she is technically still the owner of the house right? She hasn't removed anything yet, but she is on the brink. I honestly think she just doesn't realize what she is doing and is just trying to get some extra cash...but at the same time I feel it really isn't right either. Should I notify the Banks/Listing Agent who is doing the short sale? (I am dual Represented, the listing agent is our agent too)Should I say something to her myself? Any advice would be appreciated. How Do I Rip Blu-Ray Without Extras?

I am currently using AnyDVD HD to rip my Blu-Ray movies onto my hard drive. Its ripping them just fine but the files are huge (Ironman was 44 GB) I am wondering if there is any program or any way that I can rip JUST the movie and not all the extras so I can conserve some space on my hard drive.

What kind of filter should I get for a 5 gallon tank with a betta in it?

I bought a 5 gallon tank and I'm going to get a betta, I know I shouldn't get too powerful of a filter for it so what should I look for when buying one? I was going to get a Microclean 304 Internal Mini Filter, but I'm not sure. I'm also going to get a 25 watt heater (maybe Aquarium Systems Visi-Therm 25 watt, but I read about it getting stuck "on") and an air pump, probably a Tetra Whisper 10. Also, what kind of light is good? I won't have live plants in there, and I heard that a pink light won't strip colour from the fish but I can't find any pink ones. I need a 15 watt light. Potty question for four year olds... any tips to get them to clean up well after potty use?

my son just turned four, I still clean him up after number 2. Since he just turned four on Monday, I want to start training him to clean up himself, of course. I am really worried about sanitary problems. The only time he has been in overnight care at the hospital, (thank God it was only once), after birthing stay, was when he was a toddler. He had rotavirus, which was, I told contacted from number 2 being ingested somehow. I thought it might have been from a play group, but since then I have been even more careful about because it was a very hard visit, it was very worrisome for me. I know this might play into why I have a hard time letting him clean up himself after potty use, so if you have any tips, ideas or reurance how to know he is cleaning well enough I would really appreciate it. My friends are wonderful people! Not a mean bone in their body but the are born and raised in Mexico where dogs aren't as well treated as here in America. The two dogs (yorkies) live great indoor lives, treats, always inside, shots, etc. Want for nothing. The only thing is when they pick them up the grab them by the skin anywhere they can, by their tail sometimes, one leg, etc. Also her husband will just be sitting there and outta nowhere for no reason "SMACK" will whale the dog with a punch or a slap for literally zero reason, almost a love tap cause he snuggles the dog once he does it... when i saw this i was saddened but must admit i bit my tongue not wanting to judge or offend, should i address this? He beats the dogs at various times through out the day and i really don't think he realizes it...
