What Americans thing about Poland?

I am Polish and NOT ashamed to say It, I've lived in the USA for about 9 years and I'd have to say that most Americans do NOT like Poland. There are jokes about Polish people. I have once been at a pool party, and someone's dad asked me about cities around Warsaw, and I said ( I was in 5th grade at the time ) we didn't have geography until middle school. The man who asked me was like, "wow! I didn't know they were that far back! Yeah, ask my daughter anything about united states and they know! More than I do!." So basically the man was calling Poland stupid. America teaches about America. Poland teaches things ALL around the world, so I'm not to advanced in cities around Poland.
