World Peace Summit: Reconciliation amongst people----?

Christ said there would be wars and rumors of wars. According to His scenario, it's not going to get any better as time goes on. In fact, it's only going to get worse. The reason for this is simple- human nature, which by definition is violence personnified. All these so-called "peace- movements" are nothing more than agents of spreading the very violence and hatred they purport to represent a "unified" front against. Why? Again, human nature. When you show people their shortcomings in some area of their lives, you're not shaming and humiliating them; instead, you're only strirring in them a reckless disregard for peace and harmony, and a desire to vent their hatreds even more. At best, it only brings to the surface all the poison and hatred that's already there. People might think they've effectively stopped the hatred and violence at its source by engaging in these peace movements, but all they've effectively done is insured that it will leak out into society at some other opening. Sad but true. Peace in our modern world is an illusion.
