Is it a bad time to purchase an on demand soccer channel?

I was watching soccer on ESPN a while ago and it saddens me how very few european games they show on there. Is it a bad time to purchase the on demand soccer channel. I'm not to familiar with how european soccer works. I know there's different leagues like the spanish league and stuff, but I don't know when the games started going (considering I live in the United States).
